Partnership on a 14 – Day Sustainability Campaign – #14GreenCards
The online campaign, tagged “#14GreenCards”, is one of such activities, geared towards causing behavioural change and promoting environmentally friendly actions during the festive period (Christmas and New Year). The campaign was hosted across major social media channels shining light on how human activities and actions especially during the festive period adversely affect the planet, creating sustainable alternatives that can be practiced during this period.

Partnership on Ibadan Climate Action March
The Ibadan City Climate Action March, held in 2022 in Ibadan, Nigeria, was a vibrant sustainability initiative. Its primary aim was to raise awareness and sensitize individuals about the need to envision and plan for a sustainable future. It also focused on educating people about several approaches to manage our planet resources and lead a sustainable lifestyle. Green Mind International Academy partnered with Big Picture Initiative by actively participating in the march and also mobilizing alumni and network in and around Ibadan for the march.
Clyme
Open dialogue on climate change conference
Green Mind International Academy partnered with Clyme for the open dialogue on climate change conference that held in Ibadan, Oyo state. GMI Academy was represented by 4 delegates who contributed to the discourse of climate change, youth led climate action and climate smart agriculture (CSA).
Delegates from various organisations discussed the urgent need to transition from conventional agriculture, which degrades carbon sinks like forests to more sustainable methods. With the world’s population steadily increasing, the demand for food is undeniable, but climate smart agriculture offers a solution, producing more food while minimizing environmental impact, making agriculture more efficient and sustainable.
GMI Academy team members presented the organization work and our efforts towards making the planet more sustainable. The event also featured presentations from various environmental organizations, including Recycledge, SustyVibes, Ecosis, Junior Chamber International Nigeria University of Ibadan, and Plogging Nigeria Club. It was inspiring to see the amazing projects from these organisations. With more collaborative efforts, we will achieve the sustainable future we seek.
